Partnering: Best Value: Supply Chains: Benchmarking

In 1990 Bob Loraine after many years in project management in construction formed a management consultancy, Applied Project Research Ltd. (APR)

This followed membership of the task force set up by the Construction Industry Sector Group of the National Economic Development Office. This task force was commissioned to investigate and report on the then new practice of partnering in the USA.

As a result although APR carried out a variety of assignments in construction management there was an increasing concentration on advising on the practices associated with partnering. The extent of this partnering consultancy is described later.

APR has increasingly concentrated on advising public sector clients and the like. These have included national agencies, local authorities, utilities and housing associations. A typical client list is shown later.

Bob Loraine has also been a member of various task forces and has published a number of influential works on the subject of partnering and the associated supply chain management and smart procurement topics. A publications list is shown later.

Bob Loraine has spoken at a number of seminars and training courses and organised and facilitated at workshops. Some examples of these are shown later.
