Chris Bruton and David McHale have been involved in the world of Bulldogs, breeding and showing for over 25 years. During that time they have built up one of, if not the most successful bulldog breed kennels in the world - Kelloe Bulldogs. Their biggest win to date was 'Reserve Supreme Champion at CRUFTS in 1986' and they are the breeders of the Top winning Bulldog of all time Ch. Kelloe White Glove. In 1994 Chris became the founding secretary of the re-formed Bulldog Breed Council and both he and David McHale now exercise their expertise as much sought after International Championship Show Judges, officiating as far afield as Japan and Russia. Their successes in the show ring are legendary - of the 12 CC winning dogs they have campaigned, 10 champions have shared 18 Utility Groups, 3 Best in Shows and 5 Reserve best in Shows at All Breed General Championship Shows. Kelloe Bulldogs have also won Best in Show at:- The Bulldog Club Incorporated, The British Bulldog Club, The Junior Bulldog Club, The London Bulldog Society in fact at every premier club show, amassing over 130 challenge certificates, including Crufts on 3 occasions. Of the 3 greatest Bulldogs of all time, Ch. Beechlyn Golden Nugget of Denbrough, Ch. Tyegarth Jacob of Kelloe and Ch. Kelloe White Glove - we have had the honour to have owned two and bred the latter!
