JavaScript, while not a fully fledged programming language - and not possessing the scope of Java itself - can be very useful to the web designer. It integrates well with HTML, and can add some useful functionality to the standard web page.

This JavaScript Library contains a selection of handy scripts, ready to cut and paste directly into place.

It is by no means a full introduction to the JavaScript language, nor even a tutorial - a good range of links to these are provided - but it does offer a flavour of what basic JavaScript can achieve. It is hoped that this will enthuse the user to learn more from other sources.
