The Downs Link Walk way runs from St Martha's Hill (North Downs Way and Pilgrims Way) near Guildford in Surrey to Botolphs (South Downs Way) near Shoreham by Sea in West Sussex this walk utilises old railway tracks on the Horsham to Guildford and Shoreham to Itchingfield Junction lines together with bridle paths to complete a route linking the Downs.  A four mile extension to Shoreham (The Coastal Link Path) was opened in 1993 to complete the route of the old railway.
