HOW IS THE PARISH MANAGED? Like all other parishes of the Church of England, we elect annually an executive committee called the Parochial Church Council (PCC) to manage the life of the parish. PCC members have a duty to promote the mission of the church in conjunction with the incumbent, and also undertake responsibility for the financial affairs of the church and the care and maintenance of the church fabric and contents. The election takes place at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, which is normally held in March or April, and all those whose names are on the Electoral Roll are entitled to vote. This Electoral Roll has nothing to do with the civil Register of Electors; it is the church's own voting list, and any member of the Church of England who is 16 or over is eligible to be on it. If you are not on the Roll, or are unsure whether you are on it, please contact the Parish Office. All church members should be on it.
