Much is written of human potential as though it hangs like an unripe fruit on a tree waiting to developed by experts and then employed.
 
We speak of realising the potential of our needs as though they have a life of their own. In a way 'we' wait to for us to realise, to actualise, to make that potential happen; only then can we own that experience; so we are creators of, and participators in, our own essential humanity.
 
Realising the potential of our needs as a dynamic process we find other potentials to actualise. A regular job will be more satisfying, exciting and rewarding than would be the case if we stayed with normal employee attitudes. 

Ordinarily we think in terms of what management wants done; we do it because we're paid to do it. In such an environment it's easy to be resentful at the way we're regarded and the treatment we get. So our relationship to management becomes an argument between us and them and the value of the work itself is almost irrelevant. 

With a dynamic approach we realise the potential of our needs as we do the work, and the feedback we get is immediate; we know when we're doing well enough without reference to management.

 
Whether we stay in our present job, or find a new one, the  dynamic we bring to it makes all the difference. We do the work and the job becomes what we make it. 

We work for wages, but we do the job because it needs doing.

 
There are countless opportunities to realise the potential of our needs as we encounter others who've realised theirs in a special way. e.g. Peter White and Gary Witheford come to mind; and anyone who has come to terms with life as it is has done it too 
- this is nothing else than survival and incidentally creating social environments in which we work best.
 
Yet the resourcefulnesss, the potential willing commitment of e.g. the blind are wasted through being neglected.
