RIGHT HAND REAR WHEELARCH REPAIR

Below, is the extent of metal I needed to remove to get back to sound.

The chunk of filler that made up the rear arch was incredibly big! About 8mm thick in places. Not a very good
previous restoration I feel.

I used a wheelarch repair panel from Rimmer Bros. Price is around 40 pounds sterling
The repair panel needs to be cut down to size, depending on the requirements. First cut is shown here. Nibbling cutter (shown) is used to prevent distortion.

Below shows the repair panel fully seam welded into place. First skim of filler is also on to reveal high spots in the welding that need grinding. Also, It looks like that tyre has been rubbing the inner arch. It is 225 in section though!
