I'm looking for contributions to these pages from people interested in calendars, in astrology/astronomy and in celebrating festivals.
Examples of the sort of thing I am looking for are reactions to what is already here, new ideas for calendars or astrology, dates that you consider to be particularly important, and suggestions for celebrating festivals. You may even wish to send me photographs or artwork (please make sure there are no copyright problems if it's not your own work).
I particularly hope that between us we can build a collection of things we love doing at festivals that can be a resource to enrich each others' celebrations, and to encourage others to start.
I will credit any contribution I publish here, and will consult with you if I wish to edit what you send. You may wish simply to ask me to add links to your site.
My printed calendar hasn't got a lot of space for anything new, but if I do want to use something you send, I will ask you, and will send you a free calendar. If we end up agreeing that I will use your photos/artwork in the printed calendar I will offer you payment in cash or calendars as you prefer, but please note that I cannot offer to pay much. I am planning the theme for my 2001 calendar to be the planets and their meaning for us. The thirteen months are likely to cover the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, and may start with an overview of the whole system.
Mail anything to me at william@pavilion.co.uk . Please bear in mind if attaching files that I use a Mac. Generally (high quality) jpegs are good for graphics, though Photoshop files or tiffs may be even better. Quark and Word formats are OK for text, as is ASCII text.
